Laurent Mazzone Parfums was established in November 2011, when its founder — raised in an Italian family with an early passion for fragrance — resolved to transform a personal calling into a structured artistic venture. Before entering the world of perfumery, Mazzone had built a career in fashion retail, opening a series of prêt-à-porter boutiques that brought him close to the language of precious materials and refined aesthetics. Perfumery became the natural destination of that journey.
From the outset, the maison adopted an esoteric and deliberately dark aesthetic, lending each creation an enigmatic character that sits well outside conventional norms. The bottle design — with its clean geometric and symmetrical lines — is a tribute to the architecture of New York, a city that has profoundly shaped Mazzone's visual sensibility. An exclusive partnership with the Robertet Group for the sourcing of raw materials ensures the maison access to ingredients of the highest order.
LM Parfums works predominantly within oriental and woody olfactory families, with forays into spicy florals and oud. The near-exclusive focus on extrait de parfum is a deliberate choice: to favour depth, projection, and longevity over lightness. Every composition is born from a collaboration between Mazzone and leading perfumers of the contemporary fragrance world — among them Jérôme Epinette, Bruno Jovanovic, Vincent Ricord, Nathalie Feisthauer, and Richard Ibanez — ensuring a consistently high technical standard in keeping with the house's identity.
The LM Parfums catalogue spans more than fifty references, with several creations having earned considerable standing among niche fragrance enthusiasts.
