Why You Shouldn't Use Regular Perfume on Hair

An eau de parfum can contain up to 85% denatured alcohol: on the hair fibre it dehydrates the cuticle, dulls the colour and, on treated hair, can speed up fading. Hair mists exist precisely to solve this.

Dedicated formulations cut the alcohol content drastically and replace it with water or glycol bases, adding panthenol, light oils and UV protection. The scent is the same, but the hair stays soft.

• Longer persistence — keratin holds aromatic molecules better than the epidermis.
• Trail in movement — the scent releases naturally every time you turn your head.
• No interference — the fragrance does not shift with body heat as it does on the wrists.
• Softer projection — the lower concentration avoids overwhelming enclosed spaces.

How to Apply It

Spray from around twenty centimetres away, over the lengths and never at the roots, ideally on dry hair. Two or three sprays are enough. You can also mist your brush and run it through the hair for a more even spread.

It is the ideal product for anyone who cannot tolerate perfume on the skin or wants a discreet olfactory presence.
