Jupilò: Contemporary Artistic Niche Perfumes
Jupilò is an Italian artistic perfume maison founded in 2023 by Lorenzo Zaccheo, rooted between Rome and Paris. The brand is built around the pursuit of the «great fragrance» through collaboration with international noses, translating biographical memory, wine culture and aesthetic sensibility into unisex Extrait de Parfum.
History and philosophy
Jupilò made its debut in 2023 at Esxence in Milan, presenting itself as a personal project by Lorenzo Zaccheo — lawyer, sommelier and boxer, three figures that embody the brand's three souls: rationality, sensory sensitivity and instinct. The name itself is an acronym built from the initials of the Zaccheo family, with «lò» referring directly to the founder. The project's geographical roots shift between Rome and Paris, two cities that define the aesthetic and cultural horizon of every composition.
The brand's philosophy is grounded in memory as its creative starting point: each fragrance begins with a recollection — personal or collective — which is conveyed to the perfumers through precise briefs. The packaging reflects this coherence: flacons of clean geometric design with a zamak cap, developed by an Italian architecture and design studio, and an inverted stepped pyramid as the brand's visual signature.
The style
Jupilò works exclusively in Extrait de Parfum concentration and collaborates with an ensemble of international perfumers — among them Vanina Muracciole, Arturetto Landi, Christian Carbonnel, Jordi Fernández and Gaël Montero — each entrusted with a specific narrative brief. The olfactory families range from floral-woody and oriental to aromatic-aquatic and gourmand, with a common thread of quality raw materials and carefully selected synthetic molecules. The collections organise the catalogue into distinct thematic areas:
- Sommelier Collection — the original heart of the brand, dedicated to great wines, champagnes and spirits; the fragrances evoke the olfactory character of grape varieties and ageing techniques.
- Secret Rome Collection — a homage to the less touristy side of Rome, its back streets and hidden corners; created principally by Vanina Muracciole, it explores floral and fruity families with real character.
- Blu Collection — aromatic-aquatic and citrus fragrances that interpret open spaces, luminosity and marine freshness.
- Dress Code — woody and spiced compositions designed to accompany formal occasions or moments that call for a commanding presence.
- Limited Collection / Limited Edition — small-batch releases that extend the brand's olfactory vocabulary beyond its permanent lines.
Best-known products
The Jupilò range comprises around twenty unisex Extrait de Parfum references. Among those most noted by critics and enthusiasts:
- Wine Vanilla — an Extrait de Parfum from the Sommelier Collection, signed by Vanina Muracciole. Inspired by the French oak barriques used to age great Burgundies: an opening of bergamot, pear and blackcurrant; a heart of narcissus, jasmine and violet; a base of vanilla with tonka bean and white musks.
- Floriage — from the Secret Rome Collection, signed by Vanina Muracciole; a characterful floral with a crisp opening and exceptional sillage, evoking Rome in its most contrasting shades.
- Exoticoud — an Extrait de Parfum from 2024, created by Arturetto Landi; floral-fruity on a base of oud, leather and oriental resins, with an opening of passion fruit, mango and raspberry.
- Dominus — from 2025, signed by Jordi Fernández; aromatic-woody with CO₂ pink pepper, Italian bergamot, akigalawood and ambrofix; aimed at a strong yet measured masculine presence.
- Dolcemente — from 2024, again by Vanina Muracciole; a delicate gourmand built on an accord of mimosa, jasmine and apricot, with a vanilla and vetiver base that tempers the sweetness.
